Summary
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you are going to help define test automation for various projects, review product specifications, contribute to test harness, execute test plans, and participate in defining/selecting appropriate test tools in delivering a high quality product. You will be a part of the software development team. You will have to work under pressure, be self-motivated and have attention to detail. In addition, you are also encouraged to bring in your own creativity in all aspects of work.
Responsibility
Create detailed test designs and conditions, and execute
Analyze and test user and system interface functionality
Participate in detailed review walkthrough session
Document and prioritize application bugs and work closely with developers to resolve bugs in an efficient manner
Provide traceability from business requirements and technical specifications to test conditions and problem reports
Collect metrics to measure test progress & quality outcomes
Qualification
Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive and accurate test designs and conditions through research and analysis of documentation; and from socializing with technical and business experts.
Expert research and analytical skills involving technical and business process documentation - including system architecture, detailed design, and requirements
Knowledge of industry standards and SQA best practices
Independent thinker with tenacity to maintain focus on issues until satisfied they are adequately resolved
Easy and adaptive personality
Fast, accurate & enthusiastic self-starter
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English)
